The client wanted the pond filled in, a tree removed and hedge in the west garden removed. The bridge that overlooks the east garden, the client wanted to stop passers-by looking into the garden.
The west facing garden had a mature Fagus sylvatica hedge, which we removed and replanted, opening the views across the meadow, stream and the setting sun. Part of the hedge was replanted in the east garden to block the view into the garden from the bridge on the road. The lawns were relayed and borders planted to attract more wildlife.
