The Coach House, Hampstead, London.
The garden was over looked by apartments on one side and a brick wall to the other side. Noise pollution from a busy road.
The design idea was to screen the apartments to the north using pleached Fagus sylvatica plus a two level hedge, inter dispersed with mirrors, to create the impression the garden continues to the east. There is a social area to relax in, with a water feature to help block out the noise from the traffic.
